Investment Management and Fund Raising

• Obtain mandate and necessary documents to support Fyodorzyn Sequel with the fund raise
• Conduct Risk Analysis to identify potential deal-breakers including financial, technical, commercial or management personnel related risks
• Develop fund-raising strategy based on client expectations
• Identify steps required to be completed prior to contacting investors (potential steps to mitigate any risks identified in the risk assessment phase)
• Prepare investment teasers to send out to Investors. Investors will be sourced from private networks of Fyodorzyn Sequel, and public/venture capital sources (e.g. Singapore Investors Network, BANSEA etc.)
• Receive expressions of interest from investors
• Develop safeguards to protect confidentiality, and share relevant information with selected investors
• Conduct meetings with investors & client stakeholders. Investors may bring in their own investment bankers or other selected firms to perform due diligence and evaluate risks of investment
• Receive term sheets, and submit to client stakeholders
• Help in conduct of due diligence, and obtain investment funds

Biotech Company looking to fund raise to set-up a new manufacturing plant as part of their efforts to backward integrates. Company provides organic bio-solutions/growth enablers (e.g. Organic Fertilizer) for Agriculture, Aquaculture, and Animal Feeds. The reason for backward integration is due to increasing cost of bio-enzymes and molecules required for their organic products. Company is doing well, and is on the cusp of significant growth as they have received large orders from big customers. The investment amount is ~US$5.0M, and the company has revenues of US$3.5M.
